“As far back as I can remember, all I had to do was put a pencil and a blank sheet of paper in my hand and I was on my own for a long time. I enjoyed drawing. Mostly drawing according to my imagination, without limit and without restrictions. Back at school, when I was studying design, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to be a sculptor,” says Pavel Cupák. In a big roundabout way, he finally got to what fulfils him most of all – sculpture.
