Magdalena Roztocilova makes busts and full figures of acrylate and concrete, mixed with shattered glass. The glass makes her sculptures shine with a strange glow, especially in daylight. When looking at her works, Giuseppe Arcimboldo will probably cross your mind. The busts are made of various details and fragments referring to other figures and different stories. Another interesting aspect of her works is how they’re installed. She rarely put them onto a socle. Rather, she hangs them or puts them right onto the ground, which changes their perspective.
