Michal Trpak in the Olomouc Garden

This tiny water feature is a case in point that you don’t need to go overboard to decorate your garden. While Michal Gabriel’s Player apparently dominates the space, both sculptures serve their purpose and complement each other. Aesthetic qualities aside, Trpak’s water feature has two practical applications, too: first, it gives a much needed drink to birds and insects flying around, and second, it suppresses noise coming from the neighbourhood.
