First, let yourself indulge in beautiful things. Art triggers positive emotions. You deserve them.
If you have no idea what kind of art resonates with your style, don’t worry. Most of our customers have no clue about this at the beginning of their journey. With a little help from an expert, buying artwork is easier than you’d expect.
Step one: contact us
Book a call, no strings attached. We will suggest artists who match your preferred style and intended budget and forward your ideas to Ferdinand, who will pick the best location for the sculpture based on a personal visit or a ground plan analysis. Once you decide on the artist, we’re halfway there. Just remember: you call the shots. You approve the artist’s style and the artwork itself.
Step two: meet the artist
Lenka will arrange a meeting with your artist, either at your place or at their atelier. You’ll get a chance to talk with the artist in person, to present your vision and arrange the details. It may happen that a sculpture exhibited in the atelier catches your fancy enough for you to buy it, but both our clients and artists usually prefer creating a brand-new artwork, designed specifically for the client’s space.
GOOD TO KNOW: If you’re worrying that a custom artwork will be far more expensive than an existing one, don’t. It’s quite the opposite: when you commission a garden sculpture, you may negotiate the materials and dimensions from the get-go, according to your designed budget. That’s impossible with a piece of art that already exists.
Step three: the artist makes the sculpture
Each deadline depends on the chosen materials and complexity of the work. Less complex sculptures should be ready for installation within 3 months. But to make a sculpture of bronze, for instance, can take up to half a year, because bronze needs to be cast in forms. That said, the exact price and completion date are clear from the get-go and Lenka will keep you updated.
GOOD TO KNOW: How expensive is the modern garden art represented by our gallery? The prices start around 1,500 EUR, making it your perfect first art investment.
Step four: we install the sculpture in your garden
Once the sculpture is ready, we will deliver it to your place and anchor it in the ground, so it resists theft attempts and strong gusts of wind. Delivery and installation are free of charge. Along with the artwork, the artist gives you a certificate of authenticity and instructions on how to take care of the sculpture, how to clean it, etc.
