Let us tell you one secret: there’s only one thing you need to be an expert in: your own taste and style. Do you like the sculpture? Does it spark positive emotions? Can you imagine it staying in your garden or yard for years? Your answers are what really count here.
What makes outdoor art distinctive?
First and foremost, it’s been created specifically for the outdoors. While most art galleries only offer artworks for interior spaces, our artists know which techniques and materials to choose so their sculptures resist the elements. Wooden sculptures are one exception because they weather over time. Even so, weathering is one of the main reasons people introduce wood into their gardens: they can watch it change.
How much is a custom-made modern garden sculpture?
How expensive is the garden art represented by our gallery? The prices start around 1,500 EUR, making it a perfect first art investment and a collection-starter. Naturally, the more popular and award-winning the artist, the higher the price. A work of an established artist comes at a price of 100,000 EUR or more.
Is a custom-made garden sculpture more expensive than a ready-made?
Quite the opposite: a custom-made work may be cheaper. You discuss dimensions, materials, and techniques BEFORE it is made, so you influence the price. This is impossible with a work that already exists.
Are sculptors keen on custom-making art?
Of course! Some of them even prefer designing and creating a work specifically for their client’s outdoor space. They take it as a creative challenge. Our artists have a strong background in landscape art and do their best to ensure the work suits its surroundings.
How long does it take to make a garden sculpture?
Up to a few months. It depends on how busy the artist is and what material and technique they use. A bronze sculpture, for instance, takes more time because it’ll be cast in a form that needs to be manufactured first. We’ll always let you know in advance when to expect the artwork you ordered.
Do you provide any authenticity certificate?
Each valuable artwork will have an authenticity certificate. It can differ in wording, but must contain at least this information: author’s name, title, original/copy (copy’s serial number), etc. We do provide such certificates.
How does the garden sculpture rental program work?
You pick an existing artwork from the artist’s atelier. You rent it for 3 months or more (up for negotiation). We safely deliver and install it in your garden. Upon installation, you begin a ‘trial period’ to figure out how much you like the sculpture. If you do, buy it. If you don’t, just give it back or order another piece of art from the artist.
What if I’m unhappy with the work?
If the work has an evident defect, the artist will fix it free of charge. They’ll come straight to you or take the work back to their atelier for a necessary period of time. To avoid these headaches, think thoroughly about what material to choose beforehand. Remember: wood ages and weathers over time.
What delivery options do you offer?
Once the work is ready, we’ll deliver and install it free of charge. We’ll anchor it in the ground to resist weather conditions and theft. Of course, you will be able to remove it in case you change your mind, move out, or decide to pass it down to your children.
Is art worth investing in?
Art is always worth investing in. First of all, you invest in beautiful things and positive emotions. Art is an asset you can speculate with , but most collectors don’t have this level of expertise and their picks are usually based on their style and taste.
